India to Play ICC Champions Trophy – BCCI

Indian Cricket team will participate in ICC Champions Trophy held in  England.

BCCI has confirmed the news, after a Special General Meeting (SGM) in Delhi.

BCCI is who was unhappy with ICC new governance structure, and a new finance model have plans to not send Indian Cricket Team as protest of ICC decision  and even  have some plan to go legally against ICC but after the SGM meeting BCCI has changed its plan as the decision not to play in ICC Champions Trophy can hit back at BCCI and some huge revenue loss may occur. keeping this fact in mind  BCCI has decided inclusion of Indian team in ICC Champions Trophy.

After  SGM meeting under the board decided to have and compromise formula with ICC  has decided to have negotiations with  BCCI through  Secretary of the BCCI Amitabh  Choudhary.

SGM also confirms announcement of Indian Team Squad by Monday evening.
