Rahul Tripathi Show- Tripathi scores 23 balls fifty

KKR Opener Sunil Narine continued his last three match’s streak, Narine once again failed as an opener in today’s match. Narine went out for a duck to c & b Unadkat. Gautam Gambhir (c) kept scoring useful runs but couldn’t stand n the crease for a long time went out for 24 runs in Sundar’s bowling. KKR new batsman Sheldon Jackson (wk) was out in an unusual manner in the form of hit wicket in Washington sundar’s bowling.

KKR lost four wickets very early; Manish Pandey & Colin de Grandhomme built a very useful partnership. Manish Pandey scored 37 runs off 32 balls; (3x4s, 2×6) and out in Christian over trying to hit a big shot & given a simple catch to Rahane. All-rounder Colin de Grandhomme went on hard against RPS bowlers. He scored 36 runs off just 19 balls,( 4x3s,2×6).

Surya Kumar Yadav

At the Surya Kumar Yadav changed the game, he scored two fours & one six in Unadkat over, Surya Kumar Yadav remains unbeaten 30 runs off 16 balls and helped KKR to reach 155 runs in 20 overs.

RPS Innings

Umesh Yadav & Nathan Coulter-Nile started bowling some serious fast bowling with the speed and bounce they are getting on the wicket surprised Rahane. Later Chris Woakes bowled Smith both this batsman went out early. RPS is in struggle even next batsman Manoj Tiwary too bowled for eight runs by Chris Woakes. While Dhoni was caught out of Kuldeep bowling.

Tripathi Show

No fast bowler or spinner could trouble in form batsman Rahul Tripathi, Tripathi hitting these super fast bowlers for sixes and fours without any effort and even. He scored consecutive three sixes of left-arm Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling attack. Even though wickets were falling on another end no one could stop Tripathi storm. Tripathi scored his fastest fifty off just 23 balls and went on to score to till the end and out in 19th over when he was nearing his century.  Tripathi scored 93 runs off 52 balls, (9x4s, and 7x6s). At the end when 6 runs required from last balls Christian hit a six and brought victory in style for RPS.
