RCB one more batting disaster, Kohli’s fifty goes into vain

Mr. Consistent Rahul Tripathi

RPS lost Ajinkya Rahane early in the start of the innings for Samuel Badree. Soon after Rahane dismissal Captain Steven Smith & Tripathi has played carefully and built a partnership. While the young Talent MR. Consistent Rahul Tripathi showed his mark class of shots all around the ground and played a very useful knock of 37 runs off 28 balls; (4x4s, 1×6).

Smith & Manoj Tiwary useful knock.

This duo really played well, one end smith other end Tiwary picked useful runs for RPS. They played really sensible not hitting the ball hard as they know the ball was not coming onto the bat.  They picked bad balls for boundaries.  Smith scored 45 runs off 32 balls,( 5x4s,1×6).

Dhoni Joined Tiwary at the end.

Manoj Was hitting the ball nicely and went on to score & unbeaten 44 runs off 35 balls;(4x4s, 1×6).  Dhoni joined Tiwary finishing off things for RPS, Dhoni scored 21 runs off 17 balls; ( 4×1, 1×6) and helped RPS to achieve a total of 157 for 3.

Disaster Batting –RCB

From the ball, one RCB was not looking for the win just giving away wickets to RPS bowlers. RCB in spite of changes in batting order RCB continued the same old story.  Travis Head sent for opening along with Kohli but Travis Head was clean bowled by Unadkat.

Except for Kholi no other batsman scored Double Figures

RCB batting order is collapsed just because of poor shot selection and some tuff bowling by RPS bowlers. AB De Villiers went out for Ferguson for just three runs, immediately Jadhav by Washington sundar for single digits. RCB all scored 94 runs in 20 overs for 9 wickets.

Kholi Fighting fifty.

It was Virat Kohli who was playing for his team. Virat was looking great with a good start but no other batsman stood in the crease for long time wickets were falling and falling helpless Kohli tried to set things playing very responsibly not going for unnecessary shots. Kohli scored 55 runs off 48 balls; (8x4s, 1×6) till the end of the innings.

Helpless Kholi new he lost the match and went to clear boundary and got out in Christian bowling.

RPS bowlers really bowled well in today’s match. They were not allowing any batsman to settle in the crease by bowling in right areas. Specially Imran Tahir & Lockie Ferguson.
