Defending champions India might pull out of ICC Champions trophy as BCCI lost revenue & governance vote at ICC meet by a 1-9 margin.
This voting definitely impacted BCCI as it is reducing the board power in governance and cut in the revenue.
This move by BCCI by not announcing the Indian squad for Champions trophy is a tactic to build the pressure on ICC but it backfired.
However, ICC Independent Chairman Shashank Manohar has already before the meeting had a compromise formula to BCCI with an additional
$ 100Million but BCCI rejected it.
Now BCCI plans to protest by not letting Our Indian team be a part of ICC Champions trophy in order to check how many members would like the idea of current policies changes.
